We were very fortunate with our clients, an incredibly positive family who were setting up their small new home. The old kitchen was very small and closed off. Our task was to assist the clients in choosing the best kitchen layout to open up the space to the living room and find a location for an island. The budget was very modest 6300$, as the overall house renovation required significant expenses. Together with the clients, we did an incredible job searching for suitable ideas and materials to stay within the budget.
To visually expand the space, we used panels with a finish resembling white wood (Blanco Wood). Instead of handles, which can be cumbersome in small kitchens, we opted for a handleless system in a champagne-colored metal. We decided not to clutter the central wall with upper cabinets to allow natural light to flow freely into the room. Additionally, we wanted to utilize these beautiful stone shelves where they could always display lovely dishes and family photographs. The focal point in this light kitchen was a very beautiful stone with bold, large veins. We chose lighting fixtures and bar stools in a unified color palette.
We were delighted to be a part of this project.
